Josh Smith’s Amazing Dunk to Beat the Magic
Not only did this win the game for the Hawks last night, but it also followed up a final two minutes that saw Smoove drill a huge three and give the LeBron Treatment to a drive to the hoop from J.J. Redick.
And did we mention that this locked up a playoff spot for the Hawks??

I believe we got a bit of a travel that set this play up, but still…Josh Smith is nasty. The Hawks are nasty. I can’t wait to see who they end up getting in the first round

surprised by how good this was considering the hype dime puts on various random mediocre dunks.
this is truly one of the best end of the game plays i’ve ever seen. DAMN, he elevated over two guys to get that put back.

Great play by Josh; he has been a real catalyst and leader (believe it or not) for this year’s Hawks team and it’s nice to see him get the game winner.
Yeah, the prior jumper by Josh was a 2, not a 3. But poor Josh on the outside shots–these days whenever he is about to hoist an outside jumper (basically anything outside the paint), there is an audible collective negative gasp by the Philips Arena crowd, which Josh must hear!
As I was telling a buddy sitting near me at the game, the crowd should chill on Josh and his jumpers this year. He probably this year takes no more than a couple a game on avg., and with all the other stuff he brings to the table, he is entitled to that (and occasionally he even makes one).

This dunk was so crazy, when I heard about it I had to watch it on my phone while I was AT Hornets/Cavs last night (which was a reeaaallly slow game). The best part is the replay where you can see how far away he came from.
