what a horrible way to go out for Grevis Vasquez. Even though he didnt win, he can hold his head up high for bringing Maryland back into national prominence after they nose-dived after 2003.
Gary Williams is a good coach, he should have his team back with a vengeance next year, but I dont know HOW they can replace Vasquez.

@royal thats pretty cool, maybe he has changed..i met him last summer in PR he was playing for venezuela on the fiba americas tournament. while he dint treat me wrong, you could see the way he looked at people that asked him for autographs and shit that he was an arrogant asshole.

nah yoooo… i go to school with that latino monster. he straight, he just cocky on the court. he nice when hes off. whenever ma terps win, da players all get a box of pizza, but vaz always gives his to one of the cleaning crew

thats one of the best finishes to the game i’ve ever seen. I cant stand Vasquez but dam it had to hurt to lose like that. helluva ending, and Luscious has nerves of steel to hit that shot
