Dwight Howard isn’t as brand-new as you think. Don’t get mad Cleveland fans, but it seems the media aren’t the only ones fueling the fire surrounding LeBron‘s departure from your great city. In an interview with Gery Woelfel of The Journal Times, Danny Granger was asked whether or not he thought LeBron would stay in Cleveland or bolt to New York. Let’s just say Granger will be drawing some boos when the Cavs take on the Pacers at home this Wednesday. Read More »

It’s truly a new era. A couple months after top-ranked high school senior Harrison Barnes broke ground by announcing his commitment to North Carolina via Skype, Fresno State sophomore Paul George became the first college player to announce his NBA Draft intentions via Twitter.
@King24George: Testing the waters my tweets but I’m leanin towards leavin to the draft.
That was on Friday, the day after Fresno State had been knocked out of the WAC Tournament by Louisiana Tech. Read More »

With two empty roster spots and in dire need of a point guard after moving Rafer Alston to the suspended list for the remainder of the season, the Heat made a move today by signing former Siena shooting guard Kenny Hasbrouck. While it might not seem like much, this is a great move. (And during March Madness no less.) Read More »

It’s not everyday that you get to be in the presence of an NBA legend, but let’s just say our friends at the NBA take care of us. Last week, nine-time NBA All-Star Dominique Wilkins visited the NBA Store to take part in the Panini Adrenalyn Tour. Panini, the exclusive trading card partner of the NBA, launched a new interactive basketball-themed trading card game called Adrenalyn, so when ‘Nique wasn’t showing the kids how to play, we were able to get up with “The Human Highlight Film” to talk hoops. Check out the exclusive interview below. Read More »

After some notable above-the-rim mishaps — namely a doomed 360 attempt snuffed out by LeBron James and a basic one-hander he missed all by himself in crunch time against San Antonio — Jason Richardson obviously hasn’t lost any confidence in his skills.
Putting the punctuation mark on last night’s Suns/Hornets game, J-Rich found himself on another fourth-quarter breakaway, and this time he successfully completed a 360. Read More »

E’TWAUN MOORE, Purdue, SG, Jr.
The Boilermakers don’t need to look hard for motivation. Pretty much everybody wrote them off when star forward Robbie Hummel went down with a season-ending knee injury in late-February, and the remaining stragglers signed Purdue’s death certificate after Minnesota ran through them in the Big Ten tournament. If anybody is going to cover for Hummel’s absence, it’s Moore (16.6 ppg). Read More »
