Kobe does a lot of stuff when nobody is looking. He is a cheap shot player and always has been. He elbowed Barnes TWICE on that dunk. Kobe needs to be played like that. People seem to think you have to bow down because he is a top player in the NBA. Forget that! If you punk Kobe, it will take him out of his usual element. Nobody wants to foul him hard, well now he got a taste of it. I hope other players start doing that to him. Also he never stands up for himself. He didn’t do nothing back except act like he was innocent the whole time. The same thing he did when Chris Childs punked his ass too!

As for the squabble, it was good to finally see something like that happen and no one be ejected. The NBA needs more of this, everyone is TOO friendly. I’m saying bring back the ABA days, but we do need more hard fouls and chin checking every now and then (shout out to Brittney Griner, way to stand up for yourself).

Oh and Barnes may have instigated on some plays, but Kobe clearly tried to hit him in the nuts on that dunk where Barnes was hanging from the rim. I don’t see nothing wrong with that, but i also don’t see nothing wrong with Barnes putting blood in his mouth for it. Way of the jungle baby. Don’t pretend like you hard but cant back it up. Either you is, or you ain’t. and Chris Childs and Reggie miller showed us what Kobe is about, now it’s time for Kobe to get back at somebody…anybody. Its not just about getting buckets.

If the magic make it to the finals, will Kobe avg more than 30ppg vs Barnes/Magic? I want to say yes, but then I think about that PHX series a few years back when Raja Bell had Kobe on ice in the final game and a couple other games. I think Kobe killed him a few games too, but the FINAL game… I think yall got blew out and Kobe had like zero points in one half and not much else in the other.
