We Reminisce: Dwyane Wade’s Amazing Shot At Marquette
With Marquette slated to take on Washington tonight, Dwyane Wade will be on the hardwood as well. This gem comes from Wade’s March Madness days when he scored 20 of his 22 points in the second half to lead the third-seeded Golden Eagles to a 77-74 victory over second-seeded Pitt back in 2003. The more I watch it, the more amazing it gets.

The split of the double team is something he does all the time in the NBA. The shot however is only matched by his layup against the Pistons when he was falling backwards and bowled over Ben Wallace and still made it. FIRST!

mess says:
Amazing as it was, the foul was before the travel, so shot shouldn’t have counted and he should’ve shot 2 free throws because he was attempting a shot when he was fouled.

The only amazing thing about that shot is how bad the officials missed that travel.
