I guess I just have a knack for picking dunk champions. First Josh Selby, now Marqus Blakely. After showing you the Top 10 Marqus Blakely Dunks Of The Year, the Vermont senior won the whole thing with a dunk we’d never seen before. His teammate, Evan Fjeld, came in from the right side and dunked a simple one-hander, then Blakely caught it as it was coming out of the net and did a windmill. Check it out below.

There are many, many nights when the Dallas Mavericks look like legit NBA title contenders, just running through teams, knocking down jumpers in waves and playing better defense than we’ve ever seen a modern-era Mavs team play. The University of Vermont senior has earned an invitation to compete in the college slam dunk contest tonight in Indianapolis, and is one of eight participating from around the country.
