Kobe Bryant Ignores Chris Rock
Watching last night’s game, it was hard not to notice the Saturday Night Live Hall of Famers sitting next to the Lakers’ bench. But when Chris Rock tried to joke with Kobe from his seat, the Black Mamba gave him the iceberg shoulder in return. What’s a better courtside altercation: Chris Rock & Kobe or Benny the Bull & Jay-Z?

Kobe looks like he’s hypnotized or something. It’s like the CIA captured him in the off season and turned him into a Manchurian Candidate who’s only purpose is to go out there and murder people on the basketball court.
I’ve been doubting on this guy all season, but holy fuck he’s tearing shit up in these playoffs.

IMHO I think it’s better when a player has fun with the crowd and the fans like Reggie and Spike Lee. Not that Chris Rock was against Kobe. I don’t know…giving the cold shoulder just makes him look like more of a dick than he already is.

I’m NOT a big Kobe supporter, or fan for that matter. But I will tell you that I have an incredible amount of respect for him. And this just makes me respect him more.
I don’t think this makes him look like a dick, this just shows how he’s 100% focused on the task at hand. Who gives a sh-t if he’s not over there joking around with Chris Rock, that would just make him look bad.
This guy is on a mission. If you think he’s an a–hole for not choppin it up with Chris Rock during the NBA Finals then you need to check yourself.

I don’t know on the one hand, I think it is disresepctful to not at all acknowledge a cat talking to you, but at the same time, Kobe was on his job…and he had that “I’m on my job, I don’t have time to play around with you” look on.

He’s been locked in for the whole playoffs. Nothing but admiration should come for a player that focused. From the “I don’t give a damn about the rivalry” comments. To his total demeanor on the court. Kobe means business. And business is getting another chip. When someone is focused like that… it’s hard to hate on him.
Much respect for the Mamba. He’s as Jordan’esqe’ as it gets.

In one of the games with Orl/Boston Howard got on a good tear in the 4th and helped his team back into the game.. Boston calls a timeout and during the timeout Howard starts cheesin and choppin it up with the crowd.. Howard didnt score another bucket..
Gotta keep that focus.. The fans and people fillin those seats are there for entertainment.. This is a basketball players WORK.. And for some players like Kobe this is their LIFE..
Aint no time for jokes.. there is plenty of time for all that AFTER the game..

Smacking another guy’s ass is a very cold and calculating move. Takes a cold killer instinct and plan to actually think (and then execute) that walking around copping cheap feels on other guy’s asses in front of millions of people on TV is a good move.

All Kobe haters STFu and he didnt rape nobody. ANyone ever heard of someoen lieing to get money. That was old and the chick lied and said kobe raped her because she was looking to get money. Thats old and he’s moved forward and won the NBA Finals in 2009 and is on the track of winnign AGAin in 2010 only one game away form another championship.
