    Smart advertising in my opinion. Spending some taxpayer money is probably a good idea to help get LBJ to go to NYC. It almost guarantees a sell-out crowd EVERY game.

    However, I can’t help but find this embarassing, too.

    This isn’t a waste of taxpayers money. The economic boost that LeBron brings will probably be nuts. Dude will probably create a few jobs with the business he’ll bring. Think about how many people went to Cleveland(!?) to watch LBJ. People who don’t even like Ball over here in the UK are telling me they wanna see LeBron play. So now imagine dude in NY. $£$£$£$£$£$£$£$
