Celts Fan says:
He’s the only reason I was able to try and tell myself it wasn’t all bad last night. Any time you can put a live mic in front of a crazy person, you get this kinda stuff. KG knows what I’m talking about.
Oh, and what more can you say? You can “Say Queensbridge”!

Another celts fan says:
Artest is a good man in my book. He’s out there but he’s honest and humble – and that shit is rare. It was an ugly game but a great game and all you lakers fans enjoy and be proud because your team played strong when it needed to.
Finally – this is not the day to talk about it – but something has got to be done about flops and weak calls going to the offense when you throw your body into the defender. Shit is not good for the game. Everybody does it and it’s an embarrassment.
Looking forward to next year y’all.

Ron Artest… At times he’s funny. Some times he’s crazy. He’s a warrior all the time. And most of all, today, he’s a World Champion!
Queensbridge!

Gregory Odom says:
I love that guy. I was watching the game and it seemed like he was in control the whole time while everyone else was out there. Kind of a switch of roles if you ask me. I used to really hate this guy because of his attitude but after I saw his composure last night I have a whole new perspective of him as a human being. That being said I agree with another commentor on here who said the flops need to go. You don’t pump fake and throw yourself into someone. That is a non call. They should have to go straight up to get the call. This year was an embarrassment for the league and I hope the players and owners bring these issues up in the talks. Oh and I can’t forget the poor officiating either. What a joke. Well I’m looking forward to the free agency market this summer but I think the biggest is prospect is Dirk not LBJ. Everyone knows Wade will stay in Miami and prob bring Boozer down there. Bosh in NY with James if they don’t chose Chicago. Just my opinion.

Funks says:
There is one thing you can say about Artest: he is not fake and he is not attached to the Kobe BS. I thought he would have been a good trade for the Lakers years ago, but for the wrong reasons. Kobe needed someone like Artest who is not afraid of him and would pimp slap his bit*(h @ss when he gets out of line. You get a guy like Artest on your side, he will be loyal and he can score.

Word on Ron not being attached to the Kobe BS.
LOL. Man, Artest is the shit. If there’s one Laker I’m truly happy for, it’s Ron.
Can’t help but think that Ron’s going to do a Dave Cowens and wake up in a park bench after all the parades and partying.

Fadeaway J says:
It’s hard, if you’re not a Lakers fan, to get excited for a team that already won it. Or for players winning their 5th title or a coach who is winning his 11th. In fact I was cheering for the Celitcs so I was definetly disappointed. Well until I watched this. Puts a whole different perspective on this. Hopefully most of us will begin to forget (or even forgive) the malace in the palace and remember this.
Kobe passed me the ball. He never passes me the ball.

Lloyd Eisenhardt says:
Biggest Lakers winnow right here. From the time Magic Johnson was with the Lakers, till the Kobe days, I’ve been a rooter. None of that bandwangon crap from me! I knew they would take the championship this year. Two seasons consecutively. Can anyone even title that destiny? I think whoever calls that luck is out of their brain. Lakers are the stars, and will constantly be the champions. Extraordinary mention to MVP Kobe Bryant. Felicitations Lakers!
