Derrick Rose: My Team Is Ready To Fight

Do you really need an excuse for a Derrick Rose mix? I don’t think so. But after we caught up with him in L.A. training, there’s no point guard that we’re more excited to watch this season than Chicago’s finest.

    This dude doesn’t get enough love. He finally has the pieces around him and his shooting has reportedly improved dramatically. Look for 25-9a-3reb a night and a top 8 finish in MVP voting.

    top 8 in mvp voting, wow, what an accomplishment!! and 9 apg is laughable. he might now have the pieces, but cant really pass that good.
    and 3rpg? every player on this site would get that done.

    Not hating on D. Rose. You definitely have to pay attention what he does this upcoming year. But, the most anticipated pg of this upcoming year has to be Chris Paul. Seems like everybody forget how good he is becauses of his injuries. Remember D-Wade of 3 years ago when had those injuries and came back with that monster season. I think CP3 has the most to prove and will have a great season. Everybody seems to forget he was tearing it up last year before his injuries. He was the only player go par for par with lebron with stats. He’s motivated and ready to claim back his title as the best pg in the league.

    Took that sht right out of my mouth, easy. You hear about all these other “Top 5 in the L” players, but people always sleeping on this guy. Rose’s potential is limitless. This mf’r is the truth.

    CP3?? OK. He might have a better 2010-11 season. But Derrick Rose got way more upside. 2 years, and he will RUN sht.

  11. Bub says:

    Man his bounce is up there as maybe the most EXPLOSIVE in the league. When he elevates, he accelerates so quickly.

  12. Stokely says:

    @Rafa23 Eat a dick you fuckin’ dummy.

  13. LukeCage22 says:

    DRose is the best PG in the east (sorry Rondo) and is part of the future of the NBA. He has a team that’s ready to win and a coach that knows how. Chicago is going to get slept on until they are end up the 2nd best team in the ease (behind Miami of cousre) and Rose is getting serious MVP talk BUT, he still won’t have the year numbers wise as CP3, or DWill. He and Westbrook will go par for par with their numbers. Rose and Westbrook’s careers need to be compared more often. They are atheletic freaks leading running playoff teams with limitless potential.

  14. Chicagorilla says:

    @Lukecage,

    A Coach ready to win? where you get that from, by all his head coaching experience? right exactly.

    A Team ready to win? Really, a team that in the last two years have gotten rid of all its starters except Rose and Deng?

    2nd best team in the east? hahah, so a team that picks up Carlos Boozer and spare parts, with a completely unproven coach, and MIA, BOS, ORL, MIL, ATL all getting better you seriously think the Bulls have a snowballs chance in hell of being the 2nd best team, let alone making it out of the first round?!?

    You must be a Cubs fan.
