Dime Exclusive: Rob McClanaghan Works Out Tyreke Evans & JaVale McGee In Santa Monica
This summer, you could find trainer Rob McClanaghan between two small Southern California high school gyms in Santa Monica and Hollywood (when he did make it out West). And despite battling above 90-degree heat at times outside and his players’ hectic off-court schedules, McClanaghan managed to have an incredibly productive offseason. We got up with him in L.A. for two separate workouts – one with Derrick Rose, Tyreke Evans and O.J. Mayo, and the other with Evans, JaVale McGee and Jarron Collins. This is what ensued.

What the F#$k is this?
This looks like any workout any college/high school coach would run you through.
“Make shots when you are tired”…. pretty sure just about any coach worth his salt has sold that line to his players…
hopefully DRose and Co didn’t pay too much for this “workout”..lol

Is it me or do they look lik they’re giving a half effort. Even when running afterwards it just look like a lazy jog. In highschool and college thi would be unaceptable.

LOL maybe I didn’t check the calendar, but is it wear your undies that are to tight day?
Guys trip me out with your complaining / critizing on dudes. I would love for some of you with problems to post your resume that makes you all “super qualified” to be the authority on stuff.
Go up a size on the draws…you will live longer.

Woah guys, lot of hate for a voluntary offseason workout.
These guys were working hard and you can even tell by the middle of their workout – their shirts were drenched with sweat. Rob put them through a long session, this is just a peek into it.

@bushmasterdeluxe – music credit is at the end of the video – rockwell powers “new heights”

Evans looked almost like a cartoon character with those loooonnng arms of his!? Average hops in the vid but those pythons of his would snake the ball down it seemed. He is one smooth cat, literally.

Not hating on their hard work or game.
I’m saying this video was not entertaining or newsworthy, the 7 year old with the crazy handles and nice jump shot was more entertaining.
