We Reminisce: Kenny Anderson
Anybody who grew up in New York City in the late-’80s and early-’90s has a soft spot in their heart for Kenny Anderson and EPMD. One of the greatest high school point guards of all-time, Anderson was a three-time All-American at Archbishop Malloy H.S. in Queens before taking Georgia Tech to the Final Four and playing 14 years in the NBA. But, just like EPMD, he enjoyed his greatest success in NYC and his style resonated more with fans in that region, where he’ll always be held in higher regard than anywhere else.

Did it occur to any of you that maybe Dime doesn’t read Slam and didn’t know about yesterday’s video? Just a possibility.

Kenny was sick. too bad Tony Parker was the orginator of getting into the lane as a small PG, otherwise I’d give credit to Kenny for doing such a good job at getting in the lane and attacking the rim. looks like he used TPs “tear drop” floater. Guess he went into the future and stole that too.
