But with all the hype about this being John Wall‘s team before he’s even entered training camp, take a minute and watch Gil drop a franchise record 60 (17-32 FGs, 5-12 3pt FGs, 21-27 FTs) along with eight rebounds and eight assists on Kobe and the Lakers back in December of 2006.
Just how many NBA free agents were on the market this summer? Put it this way: Even if two of the three best players in the world hadn’t been part of the pool — i.e., LeBron James and Dwyane Wade — 2010 would still qualify as the most important free agent class in League history.
