We Reminisce: Top 10 Plays From Dream Team II

A lot of things have changed since the United States last won the gold medal at the 1994 World Championships in Toronto. For one thing, half of these plays are from a Shaq that none of us have seen in years. But other than there being no music to accompany this clip, it’s definitely worth watching. By the way, who hired the “Saved By The Bell” graphics guy to do the transition slides?

What do you think?

Well I wake up in the morning,
the alarm gives out a warning,
I don’t think I’ll ever make it on tiiiiiiiiiime.

By the time I grab my books,
And I give myself a look,
I’m at the corner, just in time to see the bus fly by.

It’s aaaaall right, ‘cuz I’m Saved by the Bellllll.

^^^ How many of you sang along? ^^^

    Lol! Karaoke, Dime style.

Shaq was a monster. I would much rather have a Shaq in his prime than Kobe, or timmy or any other great from their era.

play #1 Shaq was a beast back then. There is no way he could do that today

play #6 Never respect a team with jersey tops and bottoms that dont match

  • two times

Damn, that’s a cold reminder at just how much better a Shaq-in-his-prime is then the current Dwight Howard! I couldn’t ever imagine Howard taking the rock coast to coast.

    #5… you said it brother

Where the hell are the idiots who were saying Shaq was just a size mismatch??

  • Trey bing bay

    @JAY I think they’re dead.

Kemp was a beast, I miss his beastness.

If saved by the bell was still going, there’s no way Shaq wouldn’t have made a cameo by now. Damn it was good to be a fan in the 90’s.

  • MrFreezy

Kemp was the effin man back in the day!!!

    @ #4 bobby stew
now a days defintitely not but just 4 years ago he did in the playoffs when the Heat went on to win it all

  • MrFreezy

correction, the last time i saw shaq going coast to coast was 5 years ago when the Heat won the title

  • paolo

shaq is the best in his prime? Have you seen Penny Hardaway in his prime?

Reign Man was The Man back then.

  • Ian

i couldnt read it without singin it.

  • K

lmao at shaq giving them the EURO

  • honeyryderChuck

Damn, Kemp was DA shit back then… Glided higher than Clyde, dunked harder than ‘Nique, bruaaaah all around… and then faded faster than The-Artist-Formerly-Known-As… who was it really? I’m out like the man “reigning” on Seattle’s parade…

  • QazQami

lol at the chinese guy who tries to block kemp’s dunk on #2 ^^

the guy didnt have tv or what? : /

  • the cynic

Shaq at the point; Did Don Nelson coach this team?

Who’s fatter now Kemp or Shaq?

  • http://getyourishbusted.net Chicagorilla

Funny how everyone just moved out the way whenever Shaq was dunking! Actually not so funny, more scary. Can’t believe Shawn Kemp, Coleman, and Shaq were on the same team. 3 guys who should have been monsters! Shaq was, but Kemp and Coleman didn’t finish their careers as the beast they should have been.

That Squad would smash any Team USA that’s not the Dream Team. Crazy front line with shooting and PG play. wow.

  • jzsmoove

for all you toddlers out there, Shaq was the bomb. he may be a fat phuck right now but Shaq was the aaaarrgh! Shaq was sumthin like a phenomena…hows that for your 90’s soundtrack

and dont hate on Kemp either (another fat phuck right now) but checking back esp. the ’96 season, his J was also automatic. he wasnt just a dunkin beast.

  • K Dizzle

Safe to say, the world’s improved HUGE since ’96…
