Jason Williams Suspended For Tonight’s Game
As we told you this morning in Smack, with less than a minute to go in the fourth quarter and up by 30, Jason Williams lost his mind. He was relentlessly complaining to one ref, following him around the court and even grabbing his arm at one point. After multiple warnings, White Chocolate finally got booted. Now he’s suspended without pay for tonight’s game when the Magic face the Miami Heat at American Airlines Arena.
What do you think?

Way to stick it to the refs Jason! Do you hear that from your Ivory Tower Stern? Lets make tomorrow national “wear your NBA logos upside-down” to really get Stern pissed. No one in the association will admit it, but white chocolate is right, this season is ridiculous when it comes to technicals and fines. Looks like a lockout in inevitable…and I’m for the players! Well….except for Eddie Curry and Larry Hughes

The most ridiculous thing i’ve seen. Jwill was simply frustated and looks like he didn’t say much, grabbing the refs arm is a no no though. But these techs are weak as shit, Rasheed wouldnt have been able to step on the court these days, he would have been kicked out during warmups, just by mean mugging these stern bots. The League is becoming more like the NFL with these stupid rules, let them play the game and let their emotion show, the game is a passionate sport and these athletes take it seriously. If they keep this up, no way can someone like Kobe, KG, Lebron, Dwight or any big name player stay in these games; they’re constantly talking to the refs and letting them know if they were fouled or disagreed with a call. I believe Jwill was setting an example, especially for these vets like him, these new rules are gonna be hard to get used to. Williams has seen and heard sum shit through his time with the league, so don’t expect this to be the last from him or any seasoned vet. The Lockout is inevitable and David Stern needs to get the f@&% outta Dodge and let someone save the NBA, because its becoming a joke!

Anyone who wants a league where EVERY SINGLE PLAY there is someone whining and crying about what did or didn’t happen they’re more than welcome to pony up the dough to start their own league.
I, for one, don’t want to see all the crybaby faces and crybaby antics after EVERY SINGLE WHISTLE.
Whistle blows. Play is over. Shut your mouth.
All this ‘it’s an emotional game’ garbage is just that – garbage.
Play the game. Let the refs referee the game. Get over it.

I like J Will, but he’s in the wrong here.
If my boss or supervisor tells me that I’m wrong, I don’t go arguing or bumping them. Refs aren’t the players boss, but on the court, the players MUST respect them.
And as Cheryl Miller pointed out the other night, how many plays have been reversed because of players complaining? 0. Why bother arguing?!

J WILL acting like JWOWW. i guess we’ll never see him play FIBA ball.
once again ladies n gents another of how much the nba sucks. his teammates didn’t even try to pry him away until it was too late and then the pat him on the back and give him five like that ish was cool? THATS WHY ORLANDO WILL NEVER WIN A CHIP, BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO LEADER. in the golden era, MJ SCOTTIE & PHIL woulda ripped RODMAN or who ever acted up on the bulls. i don’t like KG but at least he has the firepower of a leader.
Respect the game rule = better late than never. this shoulda been implemented long ago. but they let the situation get outta control and now it’s almost like damage control. behavior rules needed to take presidence over game rule changes. STERNS TIME AS COMMISH HAS COME AND GONE ALONG W/MJ. THE ORGANIZATIONS/NBA LET THE PLAYERS TO WHAT THEY WANT, and now your telling them to stop. this is so childish. but then again most of the guys that argue w/refs have issues with their own ball careers.
