I don’t get the hype of this shot, it’s all luck no skill, with some luck, pretty much everybody can make this kind of shot by tossing the ball around the basket randomly…

Umm duh…thats the whole point. It was a lucky shot yes, but the fact of the matter is he still took it, made it and it counted. When was the last time you ever saw a shot like this fall in an NBA GAME, EVER?? Give the fact that he hit the shot respect because although you think “pretty much everybody can make this kind of shot” most players don’t much less a shot that actually counts in a real game.
I gotta give it to Corey. I was watching this game on League Pass and when he put it up and I saw it bouncing, I was like “no effing way this falls in” and it did…that right there is amazing happening, luck or no luck. BAM!

@2 No, he’s pumping his hand cause he’s stoked it went in. Do you play ball? You ever make a shot you had no business taking? It gets you pumped up. It gets you on a roll. So much of sports is in the head, where a positive (“lucky”) instance has a lasting effect throughout the game.
If this is the second time this has happened for him a sports psychologist would say that is NOT coincidence. If he’s envisioning and thinking “that shots going in” after his release, there is a good chance it will, regardless of how impossible a shot it is.

Second what DH sayin. If you play ball, you know it’s not all luck. I lose my mind whenever I’m ballin and one of your boys is attackin the tin, hears the whistle and either just stops their drive or passes the rock. It takes mental sharpness to hear the whistle and get that ball up. Yeah, it’s a lucky shot, but that’s not the point. The point is that he had the smarts to get that rock up.
