Stephen Curry’s Where Amazing Happens Commercial

After seeing Kevin Durant talk to the future, Amar’e Stoudemire shooting in an empty gym, Steve Nash practicing back home in British Columbia, and Chris Paul running in high school, check out the last “Encouragement” spot starring Stephen Curry. Watch as a young Steph shoots with his father, Dell Curry, when he was on the Raptors.

In case you missed it, check out the exclusive interview we did with Danny Meiseles, Executive Vice President and Executive Producer of Production, Programming & Broadcasting for NBA Entertainment, about the campaign.

This one is good. It’s my favorite one out of the series.

Definitely the creepiest one in the bunch. Kevin Durant was creepy but this is even more creepy.

    Little kid creeps me out.

There is a extra creepy sense to this one, more than the others. I kept thinking about that Jerry Rice jersey I see in the stands.

  • Shot In Ya Face

Someone needs to make a spoof of Allen Iverson in his bowling alley incident during his high school years.

    Shit would be hilarious.

  • Timmy

    That is way too creepy

  • AirKaris

agree with the creepiness of this campaign… they can stop now.

  • where high ankle sprains happen

craziest thing is the kid talking to steph is he’s wearing a GS tshirt

  • M

    Steph still looks the same

this one’s kinda creepy….i like the KD one its cool…..i remember watching steph curry shoot around at break during raps games, kid was nailing nba threes when he was like 10

  • warriorsworld

The kid should have said “Hey Steph, in 10 years you will be playing with the great Vladimir Radmanovic.”

  • QQ

One of the better ad campaigns of the NBA in years. I absolutely love these. It has a sense targeting the real ballers and fans, instead of just a gimmick to the masses.

How on Earth are these commercials creepy?

Good commercials, nostalgic and poignant. I like the Nash one best. The part where the kid says “they’re gonna love that shot in Phoenix” is pretty cool…

    Well done NBA

  • Knicksfan84

I second the Allen Iverson Bowling Alley spoof…

“Hey Allen, tonight everyone will call you the problem… but in 10 years, everyone in the world you know you as ‘The ANSWER’”

    End of Commercial

  • daghost

^^^ LOVE IT! do it NBA!! That would be my favorite one!

@ where high ankle sprains happens

“craziest thing is the kid talking to steph is he’s wearing a GS tshirt”

Of course he is… that’s the whole point. You do know their “interaction” is fake, right? The GS kid is an actor, superimposed through special effects… Your comment made it sound like you think this conversation really happened. Please tell me I’m wrong…

  • Wake

Children of the corn. Too creepy indeed.

  • brandonsprague

    @quedas i second your comment

@where high ankle sprains happens is a joke. do you not understand the point of the commercial. hahahahahaha

  • http://www.blakethebully.com Rick Fisher

Blake Griffin is hands-down the best power-forward in the NBA. A redhead in the NBA. One is almost inclined to feel bad. (See: Brian Scalabrine) However, Griffin attacks the rim with such ferocity and reckless abandon that he has become recognized as a bully on the court. His highlights are so jaw dropping that opposing arenas are left with two options in his wake: deafening silence or raucous praise.

    @ quedas

i think this dude seriously thought this conversation happened…

  • McCafferty

Does anyone else think these commercials look horrible?
The ones that feature Chris Paul and Curry, specifically.

  • flegman

this is creepy. I see dead people.
