Kobe Bryant: I Couldn’t Dunk Like Shannon Brown

We’ve heard it before from Kobe Bryant: Shannon Brown does things that I could never do. He repeated it again last night after Brown decided to nearly jump through the backboard, switching hands in mid-air effortlessly. We just wish Aaron Gray would’ve jumped. Also, catch Kobe’s reaction after the jump.

Sick dunk not bad for a throw in player from Charlotte in the Adam Morrison trade.

Shannon breezy might be the best in game dunker, he certainly is in the conversation. Kobe can’t sell himself too short though, plenty of jaw droppers in his time.

@The Goods…don’t be silly, there’s only one man in that conversation and he plays for the other LA team.

Blake Griffin is definitely the best, most consistent, most frequent in-game dunker since Vince Carter, and Blake is on pace to beat Vince if he continues what he’s doing. However, I think Shannon’s top ten in-game dunks deserve to be in the same building as Blake’s top ten best. A lot of Shannon’s best dunks could actually pass as dunk contest-worthy joints. Not necessarily dunk contest-winning, but worthy nonetheless.

I hate the Lakers but damn that was sick!
