LeBron James No-Show During Player Intros in Cleveland is Inexcusable

Last night in his second return to Cleveland, LeBron James was a no-show during pre-game intros. When pressed afterwards, he said he was “in the bathroom” when starting lineups were announced.

Some people see the no-show as no big deal. I have a huge problem with this though and here’s why: Read More »

An NBA Fast Break That Would Make Paul Westhead Proud

You don’t get the nickname “Guru of Go” for no reason, and if there’s anyone that would preach the ways of Paul Westhead, it would be Loyola Marymount alumnus (and current Houston Rockets coach) Rick Adelman. It doesn’t get prettier than this.

Daily Fantasy Diagnosis: 3.30

Kevin Durant

Beast of the Night: Kevin Durant finished with 39 points, six rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and three three-pointers last night. He shot 57 percent (13-23) from the field, 83 percent (10-12) from the charity stripe and had two turnovers. Is it possible to have a quiet season while putting up No. 1 averages throughout an NBA season? Yep. Though he hasn’t drawn nearly as much attention as he did last season, KD has met the high expectations most owners had for him heading into this season. Read More »

The Cavs Steal The King’s Crown In His Return; Kevin Durant Shows Out In Overtime

LeBron James

The sequel never, ever lives up to the hype. The Godfather II. Jaws II. Even Caddyshack II couldn’t do it. Last night in Cleveland, the game was at least closer than the last Return of the King. But no one cared about that. They wanted fireworks. And got absolutely none (unless you’re a Cavs fan) … Despite nearly blowing a 23-point second-half lead, the Cavs held on to beat the Heat 102-90 to deny them a chance to move ahead of Boston and into second place in the East. This time, the reaction wasn’t nearly as antagonistic. Maybe that was because James didn’t show up for introductions. Yes, when they called his name, he was back in the locker room, waiting it out while his teammates had to soak in the boos. Read More »

What Is The Most Important Skill A Point Guard Needs?

Steve Francis

Daaaaaaamn. That’s all a fourth grader could say. And it wasn’t even like I actually spoke the words either; my nine-year-old cheeks would’ve gotten smacked if I had. I was young, but I wasn’t stupid. Still, I knew special when I saw it. Allegany Community College. Cumberland, Maryland. Steve Francis was ill even before the NBA, even before Maryland. Back then, in case you forgot, The Franchise was just beginning his takeover. Read More »

Nike Zoom Hyperfuse - Kentucky Player Exclusive

If you’ve been checking the hardwood during March Madness, you’ve most likely noticed that a ton of guys are wearing the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse. Check ‘em out: Read More »
