Chris Paul Crosses Up Andrew Bynum

To his credit, Andrew Bynum plays this pretty well. But when you have Chris Paul dancing with the rock, there’s really nothing you can do.

Can CP lead the Hornets to the second round?

I think bynum (or any 7 footer without quickness) should not lunge at a guy who has the ball on a string. Its like he wanted to be on the wrong end of a ESPN top 10. da-na-na da-na-na

  2. E$ says:

lol @ Bynum really was trying

  3. Lakers Nation says:

Drew actually learned from previous games not to jump into cp3 on the shot . . just glad his knees didn’t buckle . . no one could have guarded cp3 last night . . . “May I have this Dance?”

  4. TL says:

Pretty good D for a big man. Recovered and almost blocked it though.

  5. panchitoooo says:

i dont see CP3 leading the hornets into the 2nd round this year. phil is just too good as a coach not to make the proper adjustments to stop CP3. and the lakers are too good of a team to not execute the game plan when they come back to LA for game 5

  6. Kobeeeee says:

Has nothing to do with Bynum. Even a 6.4 good defender would look silly on these moves.

An Open Letter to CP from a life long hornets fan:

    Dear CP,

I’ve been a hornets fan since the days of your predecessor Mugsy Bogues. I have been insanely loyal to this team for the better part of 20 years. You instantly became my favorite player ever after your rookie season. If there’s anything I admire more than your on court talents is your will, determination, and heart that you play with on the court. When the rumors first came out of you wanting to leave I was absolutely crushed to hear. Of course the fan in me felt betrayed. Yet after seeing the effort that you’ve put in this entire season I have to say that I can’t blame you. I don’t think you’ll ever realize your dream of winning a championship with this disaster of a organazation. With no ownership in place and a very small, financially challenged market it would require all the stars and the moons to line up to be able to compete against the big market teams. If next season is your last with the hornets I just to thank you for the great memories you’ve given us. It has always been a pleasure to watch you take the court because you never took a night off. Always stay true to who you are. Thanks CP.

    Carry anyone?

  9. Chaos says:

spin cycle at its very best

  10. Nola says:

    @davros

now that i look at it for the second time, he really carried hard on that allen iverson shot fake. they dont call that anymore though. it’s sad but so many great players nowadays carry the hell out of the ball.

  11. Mark says:

    No help? no switch?
that horrid match-up went on to long….

  12. Davros says:

@Nola – I don’t know if his hand was under the ball but definitely well down the side. It just seemed too long of a delay between bounces

  13. panchitoooo says:

if you bend your knees enough, look up and cross over while your carry, you can get away with it…lol

  14. yoda says:

well, drew at least tried to defend this. and he did well, considering he had to guard small and fast dude like cp
