Sam says:
I think if I’m Jersey I’d rather have Deron Williams than Enes Kanter. Unless Derrick Favors really does turn into a beast, at which point they’ll be wishing they had a Kanter-Favors back-court and Brook Lopez and Kris Humphries to trade for Chris Paul/Deron Williams at the 2012 deadline.

Sam says:
Yes, 3 and 4, the idea is that maybe Jersey will regret doing the trade for Deron Williams as soon as they did.. perhaps they could have acquired him in the off-season and had a lottery talent to pair with him. Maybe they’ll even regret trading Favors at all, if a Kanter-Favors front court in UTAH turns out to be one of the game’s most dominant in 4-5 years.
Of course, if Dwight Howard ends up in Brooklyn (which I really doubt), that changes everything. Jersey will have hit a huge home run.. otherwise I’m not sure how they make Deron Williams plus Brook Lopez into a championship team with any of the upcoming free agents out there.
