Caught On Tape: Chris Mullin’s Amazing Trick Shot

Yesterday at ESPN, a few production assistants were attempting some trick shots outside during their lunch break. Little did they know, future Hall of Famer Chris Mullin was going to walk by and show ‘em how it’s done. Off the wall, one bounce, nothing but net.

What’s the best trick shot you’ve ever seen?

if you ever had a basket at home and a big wall to bounce it off of then you’ve made this shot hundreds of times. classic backyard HORSE shot and nothing fake about it

and Mullin would practice unorthodox shots all the time. I remember during the Dream Team trip they were showing him practicing taking shots way behind the three point line (just under half court essentially) and making a ridiculously high percentage.

@ #5 -RIGHT!!! My mom’s condo wall was right next to the basketball court and I would bounce it off the wall and into the basket but never from that distance Mullins did…not a fantastic trick shot but a nice one and definitely not faked

Mullin was a gunner back in the day, he was an original member of the 1st Dream Team too, probably the 11th man right before Laettner.

That was JJ Barea at the end that Mullin gave a handshake to.
