Breaking News: Maciej Lampe Out For At Least Five Months

Speaking of the Euroleague, Spanish club Caja Laboral got some horrible news this week when they learned that Maciej Lampe – yes, that Maciej Lampe – will be sidelined for at least five months due to a hip injury. The former 30th overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft, who spent three seasons in the NBA with New York, Phoenix, New Orleans and Houston, signed a two-year deal with Laboral this summer. He will undergo surgery in the United States next week. And for all you Knicks fans out there, check out some recent highlights!

    whoa for real, Lampe is out for 5 months? thanks for the update i was wondering when you guys would start news breaking again. if not for dimemag i would have never found out and neither would the whole bunch of losers that posted comments. im posting the SICK highlight video on my FB right now, did you see that one where he caught the ball and layed it in with his left hand? if you had no left hand you probably couldnt do that with such ease. cant wait to get him on my fantasy team…

    This changes the entire landscape of basketball as we know it!!!!!!

    this guy is the best finisher of wide open lay ups, vs 6’8 players, who have a 25inch vertical, and brown hair. He will be missed. Lets hope for a speedy recovery, so he can get back to making those tough wide open lay ups like no other baller in the world.
