My team didn’t have to play to win the championship… As my man Ryan Imparato said in a post on the Goodman/Drew game, the matchup that never happened between Jay-Z‘s squad and Fat Joe‘s squad at the Rucker might’ve been even bigger than the game this weekend. Here is a link to the full video.
I’ll admit it. The people out there who love Facebook but then chastise you for being on Twitter confuse me. It makes no sense at all. Most of them have never even used Twitter. I constantly hear this: “It’s just a bunch of status updates” when it is so much more. But what this proves is that social media and the way we communicate all changes rapidly, almost too quickly. Sometimes I think about high school kids, and feel I communicate with them easily before realizing I’ve been past that age for a little while. Read More »
It’s no secret that Arvydas Sabonis‘ career was marred by injury and a lack of accomplishment on the biggest stages. After years of continuous professional and international play, his body had broken down to the point where he was almost unrecognizable as an NBA rookie in 1995 as the force who dominated a young David Robinson in the Olympics just seven years earlier. However, if there has been one thing that has carried stronger than Sabonis’ plethora of “what ifs” it has to be the dedication of his loving fanbase. Read More »
Despite what you may think, most NBA players don’t set sail for the Caribbean once the season ends; many decide to live in the gym. This is definitely the case for Kevin Durant and Joe Johnson. With that, watch these two workout at the University of Miami this summer.

If ever there was a story that was very Kobe-like, then the tale of how his game at the Drew League came to be is definitely it. If you aren’t up on your summer league scheduling, the Drew League finished recently with a championship. That’s just wrong. So instead, they adopted the idea of a celebrity/All-Star/random game for Kobe. Read More »
If I wasn’t so out of touch with reality, I probably would’ve started hating on Watch The Throne. Twitter sunk into a listening/slobbering session for nearly 72 hours, and the predictable response from the public came pouring out:
-FIRST: this album is incredible!!! #classic
-THEN: you serious? Overrated…#goesbacktoplayingBDP
-FINALLY: #WTT is growing on me…
From a masterpiece to a failure to somewhere in between, it’s always the same. Read More »
