While another New Jersey point guard, Deron Williams, has already agreed to an overseas contract, another may be on his way. Jordan Farmar‘s interest in playing somewhere outside of the NBA has been strong all summer. It’s no secret, but Rajon Rondo and Russell Westbrook are undoubtedly two of the quickest dudes in the world with the ball in their hands. Which is why when we learned that the pair were to become Nike’s two lead ballers to rock their new Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011, we were understandably intrigued. The common scapegoats for the way Boston’s season ended – abruptly and quietly – were Shaq and the absence of Kendrick Perkins. The man traded for ‘Perk – Jeff Green – doesn’t get mentioned nearly as much, and that’s confusing. But when you think about it, Green hardly did anything that warranted criticism. That’s because he hardly did anything at all. He just wasn’t around, oddly silent. Read More »
