Ricky Rubio Throws Alley-Oops To Rudy Fernandez & Serge Ibaka

Now here’s something you won’t see in the NBA. Check out Minnesota’s new point guard, Ricky Rubio, throwing alley-oops to Dallas’ Rudy Fernandez and OKC’s Serge Ibaka. You have to think the U.S. is going to have problems with Spain in next summer’s Olympics.

What do you think?

I’m sure he went to play for Spain because they either offered him money or he just wants to get a gold medal, but either way that’s just lame. He ran around the NBA dunk contest with his Congo flag like he was Usain Bolt, then he just turns on them. Not cool when you are the best player from your country.

Is Congo still in consideration for a spot in the Summer Olympics?

If so, I think he should’ve played for Congo despite their inferior team.

If not, he’s pretty much a free agent & good for him. He wasn’t getting on the US squad & could only qualify for a few other teams.

free agent ? you’re an idiot. You don’t know shiit about national pride, about playing your heart out for you country! i’m whit Chicagorilla on this..it’s not cool what he has done

If you guys are getting on Ibaka about playing for Spain what do think about someone like olajuwon playing for the U.S instead of Nigeria or Tim Duncan playing for the U.S instead of the Virgin islands?

  • RN

Ibaka received his citizenship with Spain this year, which allows him to play for the Spanish national team.

that lob to Ibaka was horrible. He was lucky Ibaka coould jump that high, he almost threw it over the whole backboard.
