    The reason Yi cant do this in the NBA is that the average PG in the NBA can jump and get above the rim. The guy he dunked on looked like his outstretched hands barely went above net level……

    The reasons he doesn’t do much of that in the NBA are as follows:

    1) NBA players are generally more athletic than other pro league players. Yi’s having such a hard time because he’s a skill player and he’s usually matched up with physical guys.

    2) Yi’s playing time and touches are limited. You have to actually play and have the ball in the first place to dunk on somebody.

    The defender couldn’t decide to take the charge or make the block. The formula for that outcome is as follows:
    50% Attempted Charge
    50% Attempted block
    ———————
    100% Wrong… EVERY TIME!!!
