HBO Documentary: Prayer For A Perfect Season Trailer
When we first told you about this project, we couldn’t have been more excited. “The Miracle Of St. Anthony” is one of the very best basketball books out there, and this will serve as somewhat of a video tribute to that. This HBO documentary will chronicle St. Patrick’s (Elizabeth, N.J.) 2010-11 season, and prominently features Head Coach Kevin Boyle and his two star players: Kentucky freshman Michael Gilchrist and Western Kentucky freshman Derrick Gordon. The climax of the movie, previewed here, centers around a winner-take-all national championship against St. Anthony’s of Jersey City.
Directed by Marc Levin, Prayer For A Perfect Season premieres Tuesday, October 25th at 9 p.m. EST/PST, exclusively on HBO.
