Santa Barbara is one of the more beautiful cities in America. Nestled on California’s shoreline, north of Los Angeles, “The American Riviera” has some of the best beaches in the state. The city is also home to the University of California-Santa Barbara (UCSB), whose campus is literally located right on the beach. For many students there, the beach is their second home right behind their dorm rooms. However, for Orlando Johnson, the shooting guard for the UCSB Gauchos, the beach is an afterthought; his second home is the team’s home arena. Read More »
I haven’t yet had the chance to hang out with many actors/comedians in my day, but I was lucky enough to kick it with Nick Swardson one night in L.A. And yes, he’s as funny as you’d think.

Did the Heat lose in the Finals last year because LeBron played like he was scared? Did they lose because J.J. Barea went off? Did they lose because Dirk did everything outside of morphing into Larry Bird to stop them? Dwyane Wade doesn’t believe any of that was the real reason they lost. The Heat lost because of misplaced emotion. Wade and his teammates wanted to win to spite people because so much of the public actively hated them. Public Enemy No. 1. Even Ice Cube in his heyday never felt this hated. Redick enjoyed some time as college’s nice guy as well as being a top player in the early-to-mid 2000s. I’m not really sure what the basis of this video was because, look, if you put together a top 10 Chicago Bulls playoff plays, and the list doesn’t include MJ‘s Last Shot or his switch-in-the-air layup against the Lakers, then someone screwed up. Either way, it’s a dope video and I’m just glad they threw in Pippen‘s dunk that ended Washington’s season in 1997.
