We Reminisce: The Time Dennis Rodman Made 3 Treys In A Row

“Taco Dennis” banged three treys in a row in this blowout win over Milwaukee, a feat so shocking that even Scottie Pippen had to show him love. Actually, this January 1998 game was crazy all around. Glenn Robinson and Michael Jordan went back and forth, each dropping 44, while Luc Longley went for 24, nine and eight. I’m not joking.

Where does this rank on the scale of “weird things that no one expected to happen?”

I loved ’98 season when Mike even said Rodman was the MVP for the season. Scott Burrell playing major mins while Pip was out….Good times. I remember the first game where the bulls lost against Boston and Ron Mercer looked like he might be a great player
