The 2011 NBA Preseason Schedule

NBA

Let me tell you, constructing this list was not easy. Only certain NBA teams have actually sent out press releases with their preseason schedule, meaning it took some digging to compile this. As it has become common knowledge, each team will play two preseason games – one home and one away – against the same opponent. And with limited time before the season begins on Christmas Day, pairings have been determined geographically. So without further ado, here’s the 2011 NBA preseason schedule: Read More »

Top 100 Fantasy Basketball Player Rankings

Kevin Durant

Thanksgiving leftovers are finding their way into our meals, holiday music is playing everywhere we go and the Rockefeller Christmas tree is lit. Yes, the start of the 2011-12 NBA season is finally near. Though we’ll have to wait for free agency and amnesty activity to wrap up in order to make truly educated approximations of where many players should be picked in our fantasy basketball drafts, it’d be unwise to lie idle before then. Top 5 NBA Teams Most Likely To Sign Jamal Crawford

Jamal Crawford

Last year, no one was bothering with the Brad Millers or the Tony Allens of the game. Stars were available; The world, set to be re-made. This free agency, with a period that’ll come and go as swiftly as 50‘s prime, without any real bank breakers or future stars, it’s all about securing the role players. Take at look at our free agent tracker. How many of those guys are even the third-best player on a title team? Hardly any. All-Stars? You’ll have an easier time convincing CP to stay in N’awlins. Shaquille O’Neal: “Chris Paul Is Not Better Than Rajon Rondo”

Shaquille O'Neal

We’ve argued this time and time again. Two points guards. One team. Who would you rather have running your squad? There are so many moving parts in a discussion like this, that oftentimes it’s impossible to settle on an answer. You can look at personal accolades, team success, age, stats, etc. – at the end of the day it normally comes down to personal preference. For PGs, do you like pass-first or a scoring hybrid? How much does their supporting cast matter? You could do this all day.

This week’s discussion has centered around Rajon Rondo and Chris Paul. And now Shaq has decided to let his opinion be heard. Read More »

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: One of the best things to come out of the NBA lockout was Brandon Jennings dominating every game he played. Everywhere. Thunder Hustling to Lock Down Russell Westbrook

Russell Westbrook

As the basketball world has been wrapped up in Rajon Rondo trade rumors and Chris Paul trade demands (or non-demands), two pieces of the “Big Four” of the NBA’s best point guards have remained outside of the fray. Along with Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook‘s name hasn’t been been mentioned in any real credible rumors, despite some of the drama that went down at the end of last season in OKC.

The Thunder want to do their best to make sure Westbrook’s name stays of the rumor mill and make sure he knows he’s loved in OKC. Read More »
