Not exactly, but on this night he was, providing the game-winning alley-oop in a one-point win over the playoff-bound Lakers. Curry was in the midst of the best season of his career – 19.5 points and seven boards a night – and was getting legitimate All-Star consideration. On this night, he was such a big star he had Spike Lee and Denzel Washington beefing. You know the craziest thing about this game? The Knicks not only started Curry, they also started Jerome James. How can you possibly start those two together?
