The Top 10 NBA Plays Of The Season’s First Half

1. While Griffin’s dunk on Perkins from Jan. 30 stands on its own merit, the timing of coming just days after the previous top-five dunk by LeBron brings this to No. 1, too. Almost a Mozgov? It’s better than a Mozgov, as one announcer says — and better than any other so far this season.

What play would you have added to this list?

When you bounce the ball off the backboard, catch it, then dunk it, do you get credit for an offensive rebound?

  • http://datpiff.com beiber newz

rebounds are rebounds because they are missed shot recoveries….a bounce off the backboard is considered a deflection, just like how a ref is part of the game, if the ball hits the ref, but doesn’t go out of bounds, the ball is still in play. if you bounce the ball off the ref and can a 3, does the ref get credit for the assist? no. that is the reason you don’t get an assist for yourself when you bounce the ball off the backboard and yam it. it’s just considered a deflection or whatever. i can’t think of a better word than deflection, but i hope y’all get my point.
