Alley-Oop Death Match: Blake Griffin Vs. Gerald Green

Neither the Clippers nor the Nets could defend their home floors Monday night against the Celtics and Bucks. The home teams are, however, walking away with a door prize: Some of the night’s top highlights.

In one corner of our alley-oop death match, Blake Griffin calls for a lob from Mo Williams on unsuspecting Celtic Greg Stiemsma. The degree of difficulty is high because of how small the space for him to catch the ball is. Only about a foot, max, is open between Stiemsma’s hands and the rim. Did we mention Griffin has his back to the hoop?

Then there’s the rise of Gerald Green, who two nights ago made ballboys and the Houston bench alike jump in their seats with his ridiculous windmill alley-oop (Absolutely. Ridiculous.). Monday against the Bucks he got his head back above the rim on the give-and-go oop.

Whose alley-oop was better?
