The Top 25 Career NBA Salaries

5. Dirk Nowitzki – $204,063,985
It’s pretty surprising that Dirk is all the way up here, but if your owner is Mark Cuban, you’re bound to paid well. For all of Dirk’s loyalty and hard work and tearing down of pre-championship Miami, you probably won’t find too many people ready to squabble with this dollar amount.
4. Tim Duncan – $224,709,155
Tim Duncan is a top player ever, and arguably the greatest power forward ever, so to find him near the top of this list is not surprising at all. And probably deserved, too.
3. Kobe Bryant – $279,738,062
His current gargantuan contract is eating up half the Lakers’ salary cap alone (although now they’re way over), so Kobe’s career earnings should come as no surprise. He’s also been in the league for a shocking 16 years, and he’s been on top of the game for most of that time.
2. Shaquille O’Neal – $292,198,327
Shaq, Kobe, Duncan. This might be their money ranking, but where do you rank them all-time, as compared to each other. We have no idea, either.
1. Kevin Garnett – $328,562,398
Garnett might be No. 1 right now, but expect him to be easily passed by the likes of LeBron James and others. But for now, Garnett has probably been worth every penny. And even now, at the end of his career, he’s still a top NBA big man.
