Well that escalated quickly. What started yesterday as Brooklyn Nets GM Billy King making some calls about Kevin Garnett‘s interest/availability, has erupted into a full-blown “Please take all of our high-priced vets so we can rebuild” push from the Boston Celtics.

Two hours ago Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the two sides were talking about a KG/Paul Pierce deal that “that would include Gerald Wallace, Tomike Shengelia, the expiring deal of Kris Humphries and three future first-round picks.”
