NBA Free Agency News: Pelicans Make Huge Offer to Tyreke Evans

It is being reported today that the New Orleans Pelicans made a huge offer to restricted free agent Tyreke Evans during their meeting with him on Sunday night. There are conflicting reports of of the dollar amount, but both numbers being thrown around are huge.

Sam Amick of USA Today reported it was a 4-year, $44 million deal, while David Aldridge reported that it was actually 4 years, $48 million.

‘Reke is a restricted free agent, so the Kings have the right to match N.O.’s offer if they want to write that check. Amick also reports that Evans will also meet with Detroit before sitting down with the Kings.
