Over the last few days, Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant has been in Paris, France as part of his Nike sponsored tour. Aside from a visit to the Louvre (we’re guessing), boat rides and posing in front of the Eiffel Tower clad in a Paris Saint-Germain soccer jersey, KD also appeared on French TV.

Paris, a land of love but also some rather provincial attitudes towards outsiders. However, the notoriously fickle Parisians are showing the love to Kevin Durant during his Nike journey, and that included a trip to a French television talk show.
Since there was a visible language disconnect, the interviewer decided to strap a hoop to his head and asked KD to lob ping pong balls at the hoop/head as he lobbed questions. Of course KD made his first shot, but then he held back from taking a second shot as the other guests took the opportunity to instead fling ping pong balls at the host’s head. It’s as bizarre as you’d expect and Durant’s quizzical countenance says it all.
