If You Want A Picture With Nuggets JaVale McGee, J.J. Hickson & Nate Robinson, You Do Push-Ups

When you’re around NBA players, you realize just how many people crush them with requests for autographs and pictures. It’s astounding the length’s some will go — what degradation they’ll undertake — for a brief memento to show that yes, they once were in the company of [insert player]. For Denver Nuggets JaVale McGee, Nate Robinson and J.J. Hickson, that means you better be in shape.

McGee posted this brief IG video showing Nate demanding a fan do 20 push-ups in order to have his photo taken with the newest Nuggets. McGee is filming, and you can tell the kids they’re messing with love the challenge while Nate shouts in this kid’s face as he’s pushing himself up off the sidewalk as McGee counts.

Isn’t a kid doing 20 push-ups for a pic with an NBA player a lot more endearing than witnessing an adult approaching a player while they’re eating in order to hassle them for an autograph? By the way, you should never ask for an autograph when a player is eating. That’s poor form.

It should be a rule that you have to complete 20 push-ups in order to snap a pic with an athlete. There would be a lot less autograph requests that way.
