Suns’ Markieff Morris “Mozgov’s” Timofey Mozgov On PutBack Slam

Timofey Mozgov is not just a proper noun, he’s a verb too after Blake Griffin introduced himself to the former Knick in Blake’s ROY season. Since that time, Mozgov has stuck around the NBA, most recently in Denver. But Markieff Morris did his best to continue the embarrassment for the 7-foot Russian on a putback slam in last night’s Suns victory.

The elder Morris twin (Markieff is seven minutes older than Marcus Morris, who is also a member of the Suns) skied for this putback dunk over Mozgov after a missed free throw in last night’s 114-103 Suns win over the Nuggets.

The Suns are 4-2 this season (!!!), and the Nuggets, after last season’s franchise record 57-win campaign, are just 1-4 so far this year. Departed coach, GM and player, George Karl, Masai Ujiri and Andre Iguodala, are laughing themselves silly right now on a conference call.

The only thing left is to come up with a dope nickname for Markieff.

I’m partial to Kool Keith, but maybe you like one of the other suggestions.
