The Grizzlies were just starting to hit their stride during a west coast road trip when 2013 Defensive Player of the Year Marc Gasol went down. He suffered a grade 2 sprain to his MCL during that horrific Black Friday in the NBA. While resting the sprain (he won’t need surgery), Gasol took in the Tom Hanks flick, Captain Phillips.
Gasol appears to be the only one with a hankering for Hanks on this Monday night.
