It’s not often you see this happen. Although we’ve seen a couple game-winning dunks this year, this one didn’t win the game outright, but it did seal it for Atlanta with Milwaukee in town, and it came in a half-court set with the Bucks defense set. That’s just the Bucks, we guess. Atlanta point guard Jeff Teague used a high screen and change-of-speed dribble to get into the lane. Once there, it was lift off time.
At this point, the Hawks were hugging a five-point lead with under a minute to play. Jeff Teague just sliced through the Bucks defense before getting airborne.
We always appreciate a nice guttural hollar following an explosion like Teague’s, too, and it was a big win for a team right on the cusp of losing a spot in the Eastern playoffs.
