Are These New Cleveland Cavaliers Uniforms?

The Cleveland Cavaliers certainly had the biggest offseason this summer. LeBron James came back home, they drafted Andrew Wiggins with the No. 1 pick and then promptly traded him to Minnesota along with last year’s No. 1, Anthony Bennett, in return for all-star stretch four, Kevin Love. Does all the turnover mean, they’re getting some new uniforms?

Perhaps you’re like us and can only afford to purchase jerseys overseas — specifically in Asia. Welp, this could simply be the case of a smart marketing campaign by Sole Slam Store, who peg themselves as “Asia’s Largest Sneaker & Streetwear Show.” But today they uploaded a pic to their Instagram of what appear to be new-look Cavs jerseys.

Here’s a pic of Kevin Love in a jersey after his trade to Cleveland was made official. This way you can compare what they’re currently rocking with what might be a new set of uniforms to coincide with a very new team and very new title aspirations.

These might just be some cool-looking knock-offs because there’s no way to know if they’re authentic — we can’t find them at the official NBA Store. Still, they look pretty snazzy, so be on the look out for them next season.

UPDATE: According to this tweet, nope! Also, a commenter pointed out how similar they are to the 1994-1999 Cavs jerseys, so this might just be a retro throw-back.
