Terms of Mudiay’s deal with the sports apparel giant were not disclosed.

UA Executive Vice President of Global Marketing Matt Mirchin had this to say of Mudiay’s addition to the company’s basketball team:

With Emmanuel joining our roster, Under Armour Basketball has added one of the game’s best young players to our team. For such a young player, Emmanuel has a complete game, is a leader and plays with a toughness that stands out the moment you see him step on the court. When you combine that with his commitment to training and his positive attitude, he has the potential to be a special player for a long time. We’re proud to now be a part of his journey.

Mudiay will play the 2014-2015 season for the Guandong Southern Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association after originally committing to Southern Methodist University. Broadly considered the top perimeter prospect in the 2015 draft class, Mudiay is a surefire high lottery pick come next June.
