Video: Mason Plumlee Beats Halftime Buzzer With The Quick Alley-Oop Finish

The Oklahoma City Thunder felt the absence of their ailing superstars – Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook – on the court Monday night in their matchup with the Brooklyn Nets. Meanwhile, the Nets welcomed back Brook Lopez in his season debut after an 11-month absence, and they maintained complete control of the game throughout the night. However, one moment got the Barclays Center rocking to its loudest decimal just before halftime.

With the Nets already holding a 17-point lead, Brooklyn guard Bojan Bogdanovic had approximately four seconds to create a little magic before the two teams headed into the locker room for the half. With his teammate, Mason Plumlee, keeping stride with him as they sped up the court in transition, Bogdanovic threw up a sweet lob for Plumlee. The FIBA Gold Medalist skied up with both hands to catch the oop and hammered it home just before the backboard lit up red.

The Nets went on to blowout OKC in a 116-85 victory to claim their second win of the season and protect their nest in the 2014 home opener.
