Giannis Antetokounmpo Stretches For Amazing Dunk On Andre Drummond

We’re convinced that Giannis Antetokounmpo is the only player in basketball capable of making this play. Watch The Greek Freak stretch his mind-boggling wingspan to its absolute limit on this incredible dunk over Andre Drummond in the Detroit Pistons’ 98-95 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night.

Holy length.

Antetokounmpo has quietly enjoyed a very good start to the 2014-2015 season. Notching just 22.3 minutes per game, Giannis – along with the revitalized O.J. Mayo – spearheads bench units that often get Jason Kidd’s starters out of early trouble. The 19 year-old basketball Gumby is averaging 9.2 points and 5.0 rebounds per game while shooting 51 percent from the field, numbers well above his rookie year marks – especially considering they’re be compiled in less court-time.

It bears mentioning that the highly-publicized point guard experiment hasn’t exactly taken hold, though. Despite using more possessions than he did in 2013-2014, Antetokounmpo’s assist rate has plunged to just 9.0 percent, almost half of what it was last season. Kidd would be well-served to put the Greek prodigy in more ball-screen situations to further flesh out his playmaking knack.

Giannis simply has the skills to do more for the Bucks than they currently ask of him. Plus, we want as many opportunities for epic highlights like this as possible.
