James Harden is such a uniquely effective offensive threat that it’s sometimes easy to forget he’s an elite athlete, too. This dunk is a pretty good reminder. Watch Harden cut back-door and rise for a rim-rattling slam over Aron Baynes in the Houston Rockets’ blow-out of the short-handed San Antonio Spurs.

Was it really that surprising? Harden isn’t an elite leaper by any means, but he’s obviously plenty explosive. It’s not like Baynes protects the rim like Roy Hibbert, either.
Great finish by Harden nonetheless.
