Video: Jarrett Jack’s Game-Winner Over DJ After Back-And-Forth Final Seconds

One of our good buddies was at Barclays last night with court-side seats. It was his first live NBA game this year, and he hit the excitement jackpot. The crazy final seconds started when Alan Anderson drained a three-pointer plus the foul with 15 seconds left and the Nets trailing the Clippers by two. Chris Paul tied it up on the other end with a scoop past Kevin Garnett and Deron Williams. But Jarrett Jack hit a difficult game-winner over DeAndre Jordan with 1.3 seconds remaining. We’re pretty jealous of our buddy.

What an emotionally draining final minute for the Clippers, who blew a nine point lead with only 1:46 left in the game.

Up only two with under 20 seconds to play, Blake Griffin challenged Anderson a bit too closely on his corner three-pointer, giving him a four-point opportunity he converted. That might have been it for some teams. Some teams don’t have Chris Paul.

CP3 kept them in it with the scoop shot past Deron — who didn’t want to foul him and give him a chance for a three-point play and the lead:

But that just set the stage for Jack’s heroics after a high Brook Lopez screen switched DJ out on Jack. Jack even seemed to miss his opening to the basket, instead giving DJ a chance at the block with the step-back.

It didn’t matter that Jack was just 2-for-10 at that point, it ripped the twine as it gave the Nets the final lead.

Brook Lopez scored 24 and Joe Johnson had 22 in Brooklyn’s big home win. DeAndre Jordan had 22 points and 20 rebounds for the Clippers, but he was just 2-for-12 from the free throw line on the game, which could have been the difference
