To make it to the NBA, you have to have talent. But to play a whole career in the NBA, you have to have a whole lot more than just that. As a 15-year NBA veteran, Jerry Stackhouse knows a thing or two about both. And on his SIRIUS Satellite Radio show, “Stack’s House,” the Bucks swingman decided to drop some veteran knowledge on Richard Jefferson’s performance in San Antonio. Kevin Durant is a freak of nature. And everybody knows it. When I was down in Dallas for All-Star, I asked Steven A. Smith about KD and this is what he had to say: “Kevin Durant is the real deal. And I think that within the next two or three years, he will easily be one of the top three players in the NBA. After the Grizzlies destroyed the Celtics last night, it’s safe to say that no one thought it was going to be this way. Not even Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley. In a great interview with the Memphis Commercial Appeal, Heisley talks about the team’s draft history, offseason priorities and whether selling the franchise is still an option. I hope I’m not the first person to tell you that Richard Jefferson is having a horrible year. Averaging career lows in every major category since his rookie year, RJ hasn’t quite lived up to the expectations Spurs fans had when he arrived last summer.
