John Wall’s Top 10 Plays Of The NBA Season

John Wall

After having a career season that included an All-Star appearance, his first playoff berth and a Slam Dunk Contest win, John Wall‘s output fell apart against the Pacers. In Games 1, 2, 4 and 6, Wall combined for just 43 points. On the series, he shot under 37 percent from the floor. It’s no surprise that the Wizards’ best performance came during Wall’s best game (Game 5: 27 points, five rebounds and five assists). Read More »

Blake Griffin’s Top 10 Plays Of The NBA Season

Blake Griffin

Blake Griffin‘s season ended in disappointing fashion last night: fouling out in the fourth quarter on a series of questionable calls, then nearly getting T’ed up for dropping an F-bomb right in the official’s face. It overshadowed what was a great game (22 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, three stocks) and series (23.8 points, 8.8 rebounds per game) for the guy who finished third overall in MVP voting. BG still gets hate for his struggles to shoot, and score in the post, but he looks more like a franchise player than he ever has. Read More »

Paul Pierce Is Interested In Signing With Clippers

Paul Pierce

You never expect it. You never expect to see the day your idols grow old. Old and slow, and stubborn and forgotten. The pull-up jumpers start falling short. The legs start giving out. Paul Pierce isn’t the same player he once was. That player wouldn’t have asked to guard LeBron and then proceed to get lit up for 49 points. But the Truth still has something left, and he says he intends to play for another year or two. Read More »

Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook

Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook (Alonzo Adams/USA TODAY Sports)

Hopefully no one turned off the OKC/Clippers game last night. I nearly did. Sent a text to my boys saying the series was over. Had my hand on the remote. Channel guide up. But for some reason, I didn’t act. Thank the basketball gods for that one. If you did miss the finish, here’s your chance to see the final 68 seconds of game time. Up seven with under 50 seconds to play, the Clippers somehow chocked it all away. Read More »

Fans getting ink of their favorite players might not be a new trend, but it’s certainly one growing in influence. Today, thanks to LakersNation and artist @q_tattoos, we found this tattoo of Kobe‘s face that a fan got on his right leg. I’d never do it but I can’t hate, especially with all the impressive detail on this one. I’ve been a card-carrying Kobe Bryant fan for a long time so I get the inspiration. Read More »
